You have a lot of whites in the 9 Second Chip Fix range. How do I choose the right one?
It is difficult to provide accurate colour recommendations, but here is a guide to help you choose between our white colours.
- Snow White (RAL 9003) is a clean, pure white. It is our brightest and best-selling white.
- Oyster White (RAL 9010) is a creamy off-white.
- Matterhorn White (RAL 9002) is an off-white with a slight grey tone.
Can I add other tints or colourants to achieve a colour match?
No. Mixing additional products compromises the adhesion and effectiveness of MagicEzy products. We do not guarantee any products that have been mixed with other additives. However, two of our products can be mixed together.
Does it dry lighter or darker than the colour on the swatch?
The product is the same colour wet or dry. When selecting colours, note that the appearance of colours can vary depending on your computer screen. If you are unsure, buy one of our kits so you can blend colours to suit.
How long does it take to dry?
In temperatures over 20°C / 70°F, repairs made with 9 Second Chip Fix are already extremely strong within 24 to 48 hours.
Does it dry in a gloss or matte finish?
9 Second Chip Fix dries in a matte finish.
Can I sand 9 Second Chip Fix once it has dried?
Yes, however there is no need to sand the repair itself. Simply use the end of the tube to create a level repair. If you do want to sand the surface, allow 7 days for the product to fully cure before sanding.
Can I paint over 9 Second Chip Fix?
Yes, with water-based paints.
How do I store the tube once opened?
We suggest storing the remaining product in the refrigerator.
