Jet Ski owners know that damaging the hull of their watercraft is something that happens quite often and getting that damage repaired professionally can be expensive – until now.

Australian nano-technology manufacturer, MagicEzy has recently released a range of ‘world first’, DIY products that enable Jet Ski owners to fix and color surface damage themselves easily.
The MagicEzy range includes 9 Second Chip Fix ™, Hairline Fix and Mega Fusion.

MagicEzy 9 Second Chip Fix™ is a revolutionary nano-filler that structurally fixes and colors chips and nicks in seconds. Better still, no catalyst is required. Jet Ski owners simply prime the plastic or composite surface using MagicEzy Mega Fusion then apply MagicEzy 9 Second Chip Fix™.

For hairline cracks and gelcoat crazing, MagicEzy Hairline Fix seals and colors fine damage in one application. It is available in 11 colors.

According to MagicEzy CEO, Warwick Lindsay, due to the nature of Jet Ski construction material, DIY repairs are traditionally difficult to perform. “After introducing our 9 Second Chip Fix and Hairline Fix products to fiberglass boat owners, jet ski owners approached us asking if our product can be used on PWCs too,” said Warwick. “We decided to develop MagicEzy Mega Fusion, an ultra-powerful primer sealant that enables our repair products to be used on difficult surfaces like plastics, carbon fiber, kevlar and aluminum.”

Already, Jet Ski owners are impressed with the results that MagicEzy products deliver. “I phoned a few companies and had a few quotes and was looking at anywhere from $800 to $1000,” said local Jet Ski owner, Jamie. “It’s unbelievable the results you can get doing this yourself.”

Another issue with repairing Jet Ski damage is durability. With all the pounding that jet skis experience on the water, repairs need to be able to withstand a lot of impact. Mr Lindsay took this into account when creating their patent-pending formula. “We ensured our products not only have a high level of adhesion and dry rock hard but also have the ability to flex with the movement of the surrounding area”, said Warwick.
